UNESCO World Heritage. It's been named "The Sistine Chapel of Latinamerica". On Sunday mornings there's a market outside with the best quesadillas.

You must spend a day trip going to the very cool church that is called, the mexican michealangelo in which is houses ceiling art work done in a similar way of the Sistine Chapel.

Historical heritage site worth visiting- see what many refer to as "the sistine chapel of Mexico". However, it is low-key in terms of the humble surroundings. Our recommendation would be to book a tour with our recommended private shuttle driver, Carlos Sanches (Go Carlos Tours). He has a personal interest in Atotonilco, as he is also a parishioner there.
