The Filmhouse is an indipendent cimema which shows a lot of best of foreign films and low budget films. Great cafe too, food and drinks are good.
Great place to catch a film and a well-priced meal and drink before or afterwards
“Screen 1 is wonderful. Loads of leg room and comfortable. Other screens much less comfortable. It's the local "independent" cinema.”
“Really good for new writers, wonderful Fringe shows. Like the building too. ....and the bar. ”

“Great venue to see a gig or concert. The Usher Hall is a concert hall, situated on Lothian Road, in the west end of Edinburgh, Scotland. It has hosted concerts and events since its construction in 1914 and can hold approximately 2,200 people in its recently restored auditorium, which is well loved by performers due to its acoustics.”
