If you turn west out of my driveway and then turn left at the stop sign at Hwy 118, keep going through Monroe until the road veers left past the fire station and the horse arena. Before you get up the hill, you may see some elk in the farm to your left. On the right is a little fishing pond that is stocked and is fun for the littles. You won't catch any big ones, but you will usually catch something. :) Keep going up the canyon and you will find Monrovian Park which has some beautiful daytime picnic areas and some nice hiking paths that follow the creek. Many people take family pictures in Monrovian park. It is a beautiful area!

A beautiful and often shaded canyon park with trails, fire pits, picnic tables, and a small river. Rock climbing, hiking, scenic driving, and OHV opportunities can all be found here among the beautiful scenery.

Beautiful! Like a little Yosemite Park. Park at the base of the mountain and hike along the river.
