Stunning sandy beach, quieter than it's rowdy neighbour Waimarama. Great to swim at or walk the dogs

they have lifeguards during the summer, every weekend and during busy holiday period. Beautiful for walks, and also go for a picnic and take some firewood for a fire in evening. Sometimes we have a fire ban in summer, so need to check this.

Lovely safe golden sand beach about 15 minutes drive from Havelock North.

Long white sand beach stretching several kilometres north. Swimmable but limited surf patrol. Best for a long walk listening to the waves washing ashore

Long, quiet beach of blonde sand and medium surf, has lifeguards in season... off season the place could be all yours.
