Right up in the hills on the way through Kata. This restaurant offers some decent food but mostly it's got a beautiful sunset as it's locate right on the edge of the hill. Beautiful.

After Beach Bar is apparently a modest looking place with a strong reggae identity found just passed Kata Noi Beach on the way to Nai Harn Beach. Seen from the road it is rather a shabby looking bar with thatched roofs, but After Beach Bar is known to have one of the most amazing panoramas on the island, a superb bird’s eye view on the pristine blue bay of Kata Noi Beach.

After Beach Bar is the most popular of the sunset bars and restaurants overlooking Kata Noi Beach. It's on the hill road between Kata and Rawai, directly above Kata Noi Beach. Here, the sun setting into the Andaman is accompanied by an almost non-stop flow of Bob Marley tunes on the stereo. The venue's décor consists of wagon wheels and raw plank shelving, with Thai and (of course) Jamaican flags. No décor, no matter how well thought out, could possibly outshine the views out over the Andaman Sea to the horizon. While the view is excellent, the food is on the simpler and cheaper end of the spectrum. Best time to go in the evening for sunset

There are 4-5 restaurants on the hillside with sweeping views of the bay. Great for sundowners on the way home. Not recommended for small children. There is a 50ft drop off the deck area! (never been known to happen but a bit stressful if you have young ones!)
