This local supermarket sells all the essentials you will need but please check the website for opening hours. The shops in Swansea are usually closed by 530pm to 6pm.

After buying your groceries here from a generations old family business, wander through the hardware section in the old building. Real country town stuff.

General Store and Supermarket. Highly recommended "General Store" with lots of exceptionally well priced and often unique or hard to find items at the best prices in Tasmania. While there, take time to visit Morris's in house Museum for lots of informative information on the historic township.
