A unique park made up of pristine nature wich is only one kilometer from center of the city (Zemun). Many swamp birds nest here, and since the Sava stopped icing over due winter, many migratory birds have made a permanent home here. At the northern tip of the island is „Lido“, a favorite beach and swimming area for residents of Zemun and New Belgrade. The island become easier to access in the summertime ever since the army put up a pontoon brige across the right channel of Danube.

Another beach? Yes, Belgrade has 2 beaches, this one is on the Danube river, it is only opened during the summer. Unlike Ada Ciganlija, Lido is more hippy :) Its quiet, there are lot of fishermen and campers. Don't hesitate to see this great place.

Great place to escape the summer heat. This beach is easily accessible via bridge from Zemun.
