The premium venue of Adelaide’s CBD with indoor-outdoor dining space and bar, open access to the outside bar and private garden and deck. On the rooftop of the Westpac building at the corner of King William and North Terrace – right in the very centre of the city with a stunning view of Adelaide. 2KW Bar & Restaurant attracts a mainly after-work, corporate crowd – generally aged 35 and over. Some reviews have marked it pretentious, with entry conditions very strict to ensure the “right kind of crowd” – be sure to dress impeccably, as this bar is known to turn people away at the door. However, dubbed as arguably (and by many accounts) “by far the best bar in Adelaide”, it is a must-see.

Good atmosphere on rooftop bar. Lovely views at sunset over North Adelaide, River Torrens, Adelaide Oval. Food good.
