It's a Wetherspoons that mean good ice-cold beers for roughly 2Pounds!!! Also the food is nice. You should try the pulled beef burger ;-)

Great variety of beers in an affordable price. Good pub food serve until 11 pm.

We visit The Asparagus couple times over the month. Food is simple and nice for lunch and drinks are cheap and cheerful. Staff is helpful and accommodating. Usually, there is hard to find an empty seat and considering its size, it's busy. It is a relaxed and simple pub.
