I grew up in the Sunset District, so I still have a soft spot for the area. Half of Mollusk is a dedicated surf shop, and in the back there’s a separate gallery space with a mostly outdoor-lifestyle aesthetic. They’ve been bringing cool art shows and goods to the neighborhood since 2005. Their massive shop sign was painted by Tauba Auerbach, a Bay Area native who went to Stanford before becoming one of the biggest female artists in New York City!

If you surf, you'll love it. If you don't surf you will want to start. It is a locally own, world renown, surf shop. Perfect for shopping or just browsing.

Great selection of surfboards, backpacks, wetsuits, and locally made surf person clothing. Wonderful staff, a must for all visitors.

Surf Shop, This is the Real Deal and offers very unique apprel and surf gear. Couple doors down have Fresh fish Lunch then walk down to the Beach.
