A Breakfast Place Born In The South. Home of the bonut, and the East Nasty - named 2015's Best Sandwich in America by Bon Appetit.
Arguably the best place in town to get a biscuit. There might be a line, but believe us, it’s well worth the wait. We recommend the east nasty and an order of bonuts for the table.
Plan to stand in line because this is a popular one. You order at the counter and then sit. Excellent food.
This restaurant is a must-eat! In the heart of the Gulch downtown (another destination you should see...lots of shops and restaurants). This place usually has a lengthy wait, so I’d try it when in the ‘off’ hours for better luck.
Another great breakfast spot. Biscuit Love is a 15-minute walk from the studio. You might eat so much that an Uber/Lyft home is necessary.
“Nashville is known for hot chicken, and there are lots of places to get it. Warning: hot chicken is really HOT. I’m not kidding. Prince’s is the original, but it burned, and I'm not sure if they have relocated. My favorite is Hattie B’s (midtown or West Nashville). Bolton’s was started by one of the original chefs at Prince’s, but I can't even handle the mild there (it's super hot!). I’ve also heard Party Fowl in the Gulch also has great hot chicken. But try some hot chicken before you head home!”
“In the Thompson hotel, cute for pics! They have a really good turmeric chai latte.”

“This sweet little vegetarian cafe serves all sorts of scrumptious veggie delights, like hearty entrees, sandwiches, salads and much more.”
“Bare-bones take-out & delivery hub with a long menu including Sichuan & Hunan dishes.”
“The Southern Engine will specialize in sandwiches stacked high with meat, with a menu reflecting that of a deli in New York or Chicago. Guests can also enjoy the railroad inspired decor, or take advantage of sitting directly under the water tower on the back patio.”
