The Streets of Indian Lake
The Streets of Indian Lake is one of our favorite Saturday destinations. The Hendersonville Farmer's Market pops up here in the green space. In addition, there's a Regal IMAX Theater, Barnes & Noble, lots of retail stores and favorite local restaurants, Maru Sushi and Sam's Sports Grill all in one…
Many restaurants, retail shops, wine and spirits, anything you can imagine that you could want is all right here.
“The Rudder offers a nice opportunity to dine with views of Old Hickory Lake. Casual atmosphere and live music on Friday and Saturday nights during the summer.”
“This is outside Nashville, but not to be missed. The environment is beautiful, as it’s situated on a waterfront, and the food is some of the best inland seafood you can get. It’s a very local place, with few tourists, but we feel it’s imperative to get the word out about this gem of a restaurant. Highly recommend the lobster bisque and smoked fish dip, and even the fried shrimp ain’t half bad!”
“Rockland has a little bit of everything. There's a boat ramp, bank fishing, walking trails and lots of covered picnic areas. It's a great place to go relax, take children to the playground, or just get some quiet time in with a great view.”
“Great for the family. Sometimes events happening, but a few historic bldgs to visit. Very close to here. ”
“This is our go-to quick lunch spot. The have great sandwiches, soups and every meal comes with a chocolate covered strawberry. The building is really neat and there's a little shop to browse inside as well.”
