The National WWII Museum tells the story of the American Experience in the war that changed the world — why it was fought, how it was won, and what it means today — so that all generations will understand the price of freedom and be inspired by what they learn.
This is easily one of the most incredible and thought provoking places to spend your day—especially if it’s a rainy one! You can enjoy the 4D movie Beyond All Boundaries and watch performers dance 1940s style!
If you like history, you'll want to spend the afternoon here. The exhibitions are well curated and the permanent exhibits and 4D film are really awesome.
TripAdvisor ranked #1 Attraction in N.O., USA Today top-rank Best Place to Learn US Military History, and Congress designated America’s official World War II Muesum.
