Coppola Film museum surrounded by historic estate winery from the late 1800's. Varietally accurate wines. French style cafe under nice trees.

Inglenook Winery, a winery from Napa's formative years, Rubicon Cabernet Sauvignon is one of my favorite wines. Now owned by Francis Ford Coppola, the Italian inspired garden and cafe is possibly my favorite place in the valley. South of St.Helena on Hwy29. Make an appointment online and go on a hot, sunny day.

Not the jug wine you remember. So wonderful since taken over by Francis Ford Coppola. Beautiful estate!

As one of the original Napa wineries, the elegant, Ivy-covered Inglenook was founded By Finnish sea captain and wine connoisseur, Gustave Niebaum, in 1879. In 1975 Francis Ford Coppola acquired the notorious winery from the Niebaum family and spent considerable time, money, and energy restoring it back to its original, magnificent splendor. Tours are by appointment only and definitely worthwhile so to appreciate the amazing historic grounds.
