Downtown Placerville is a charming downtown strip in historic "Hangtown". There is nightlife, excellent dining and fun shopping opportunities - including an amazing toy store, "Bonkers" that is a must see for families with little ones.

Always have something going, Christmas Tree lighting, Christmas Parade, Car Shows, Antique Fairs, Street fairs, don't miss the hangman. He is part of our history, We will try to keep up to date on the events in town.

Just park on one end of Main Street and walk up and back you will run into a bunch of unique shops and lots of antiques.

Historic landmark…plenty of parking, farmers markets in the summer on the weekends. Lots of cute shops, restaurants, museums, etc.
