Local market hall. You should visit to buy the best food and souvenirs here. There are also a couple of casual and good restaurants in the hall. Particularly recommended shops are Hakaiha Oy (meat), Kala Patagónico (fish), Lentävä Lehmä (cheese). Restaurant recommendation: Kalaliike Marja Nätti Ay

Hakaniemi market hall is the more affordable option for those who are looking for groceries and farm products. There are also a few ethnic food markets in the vicinity. The market hall has been moved to a temporary boxy building while the actual old market hall is being renovated.
