Although it doesn't have such a big variety of animals, the Zoo in Oradea was newly renovated and is a nice place to bring your kids.

The Zoo is an ideal recreation area for everyone. The position is particularly favorable, in an exceptional natural environment, with secular trees of various species, but also with recent plantations of trees and shrubs. Currently, the garden has a herd of over 650 specimens of animals of representative species, from almost all continents: monkeys, bears, Carpathian wolves, foxes, tigers, lions, jaguars, leopards, llamas, Carpathian deer, shovel deer, deer, ponies, pythons, alligators, pheasants, parrots, peacocks, pigeons. Most are pairs that breed in the occupied habitat on the premises. For the restocking and restoration of the herds, the exchanges of animals with other zoos from the country and abroad are practiced. The total area of the Zoo is 75,738 sqm
