Cosy little place that serves great brunch, tapas and wines. Owned by a local couple. In the evening, I can recommend going there to enjoy a few glasses of wine and if gynget, their tapas as well.

Super nice sushi place, right down at the beach - sitting Inside or outside when the wheather allows it. Premium sushi, great staff and service and great wine.

If you are into healthy eating and greens, this is a must visit place. Opened in 2017 and serves an amazing brunch plate as well as shots and juices/smoothies. Not many seats but worth getting one.

This place serves the best food, from the famous Danish opened samdwiches, to burgers and salads. They are however, probably mostly famous for their brunch - a must go to place if you love food :-)

This is a little gem, owned by a Norwegian lady and her Danish husband. You can by nice home decor, kitchen utilities, hand soap and organic bottles of wine. Enjoy their wine and tapas, or their delicious avocado brunch toast or the homemade Norwegian waffles with a nice cup of coffee. Service is great and personal - highly recommended.

Sightseeing

This will show you anything from museums to sailing - diffeeent activities to do, in one place.
Dragør is in Amager and has the most charming old town with yellow houses, small shops and cafes. The harbour is really cosy and has a few restaurants as well. Either drive there by car (15min) or take bus 350S or the metro to the airport and change to bus 35.

A huge area with nice beach and a Laguna, which is very children friendly for swimming. Also great place for running og go for a walk.

The Blue Planet is the new national aquarium and is beautiful. You can easily spend 2-3 hours there. The café is nice as well and there is a playground outside for the kids. Metro stops 500m from the entrance (the Metro stop is Kastrup).

Although I have not been there myself, this is a very popular museum, no matter if art is only a little of your interest or a lot :-) Located North of Copenhagen you would need public transportation or a car.

From here, it is also possible to take the ferry to Helsingborg in Sweden, which will take around 30min. The train departs from Copenhagen Airport, The Central Station and Nørreport to Helsingor.
