The Berea College Farm is one of the oldest continuously operating student educational farms in the United States. It raises a wide variety of fresh vegetables, fruits, herbs, grains, beans, mushrooms, honey, pork, beef, chicken, goat, fish and more – all produced by students gaining hands-on farming experience while working their way through college.
Much of the cropland is USDA certified organic and the Farm maintains animal-welfare certifications on several of the livestock enterprises. Your purchases at the Farm Store support sustainable agriculture education for students with strong academic potential and financial need.

Indian Fort Mountain Trails at the Pinnacles
Steep climb, but worth the views.
Brushy Fork
Berea College Cross-Country Trails.
Also known as Anglin Falls, it's a short hike with beautiful wildflowers and wet-weather waterfall. This is only about 20 minutes from the farm and the hike is around a mile. Not terribly strenuous and definitely worth it! Best flow is after a rainstorm, but plan for a bit of mud. DO NOT put Anglin Falls into your GPS. Use the full name to get the correct directions.

Berea College also has the oldest campus farm with continuous operation since it began. Fruit, vegetables, meat, and eggs are all raised on campus by student workers and available for sale at the Berea College Farm Store. There are several types of tours offered on campus so contact the Visitors Center to schedule.
