Best time to visit is fall and early spring when you can have some space to picnic and sunbathe on a boulder while listening to the babbling falls. Natural slides exist and it's safe for kids and perfect for all ages. There is lots of parking and most areas are handicap accessible with picnic tales to suite wheelchairs.

You can't miss it on the main drag in North Conway! Usually a line out the door! Lovely treasures and candies of yesteryear. Delights all ages. Soda pop in glass bottles from fridges older than your grandparents!

Our absolute favorite place to get breakfast and they've done a fine job this year with take out and spaced tables. Inside is quaint and homey and the menu theme fits the atmosphere. Also excellent lunch.

Winter Ski Area
This is the perfect little mountain for children and for learning and the adults can get some good runs too! There is a cafeteria and bar/restaurant attached as well.

We love Mount Cranmore! Take the ski lift in early October for prime leaf peeping! Otherwise an excellent choice for skiing and snowboarding. Every run is a pleasure.

Pack your coolers and bring food provisions
The last grocery store while on your way up is a Hannafords on route 16. You'll want to stop here if you don't plan on going out again after arriving at the cabin. Things close a bit early, especially during in climate weather, so plan ahead to have some provisions with you or be sure to stop at this Hannafords which is a 45 minutes ride to the cabin.

Drive with Caution! Bring your SUV's!
Weather can be unpredictable in the mountains and easily sneak up on your vacation away - be sure to drive sober, drive with caution, always have your lights on and when possible Sports Utility Vehicles do come in handy. We take special caution to keep our driveway and side road clean and salted in the winter, however we are in the mountain woods and roads get steep and slippery. Please be careful and use caution.
