There is plenty to take in there- live street performers locals called “buskers,” great restaurants, bars, and coffee shops (some of my favs listed below), & shopping. Nearly every weekend there is some kind of festival in Pack Square (google Asheville weekend events for details) and there is a drum circle on Friday nights in Pritchard Park (seasonal, so please double check).
