Park at the bottom to access designated trails to the top, or follow GPS to drive to the top and simply enjoy the iconic view! Definitely a spot for a classic Boise selfie!

Zoo Boise is a family friendly, mid sized Zoo located within walking distance of this property! For just $11 or less, guests can see everything from giraffes to lions! This is a great way to spend an afternoon waiting for a flight or just to see a piece of Boise!

The Boise River Greenbelt is probably my favorite thing about downtown Boise! The greenbelt is clean and quiet with the Boise River flowing straight through downtown!
On the Greenbelt you will find a 2-lane bike path that welcomes cyclists, runners, or the casual walker. On the river you can expect to see wild mink running in the rocks, the occasional deer migrating to the other side of town, and tons of Rainbow Trout!
Floating the Boise River is a summertime local favorite, and the city makes it easy with shuttle services and amenities! Being just two blocks from here, I cannot recommend the greenbelt more for quiet mornings or evenings to walk, read, bike, fish, or just relax!

A casual hike through the foothills just minutes from downtown can offer anything from Mountain Biking to a casual morning stroll where sighting deer, elk, and other wildlife is common. Finish your hike or ride and be to a quiet outdoor patio for brunch in just 5 minutes!

Barbacoa also features an outdoor patio overlooking a small local pond!

When it is, it is such a great way to experience Boise's roots as a semi-rural city that is actively growing up! Visiting the Farmer's Market on a Saturday morning can be a fun way to get your day started, experience a piece of Boise, and stock up on some fresh groceries for your stay! Located just on the other side of the Boise State campus!
