Pacific Beach
Pacific Beach is a lively beach town filled with restaurants, bars, shopping and miles of beachfront boardwalk for bicycle riding. While PB is typically known for being a college party town, you will find it very family friendly. Walking and bike riding are the best way to get around. Parking can be challenging on weekends and peek months of the year.
There are all types of cuisine and lots of places to have a drink or watch a game on TV.
Trader Joes, Sprouts, Vons & Ralphs are all close by.
Costco is 2 miles away and laundromats and liquor stores are plentiful.

1.5 miles away. Has shopping, dining, bars and an amusement park right on the beach with the oldest wooden rollercoaster. Head south towards the Jetty for more privacy, relaxation and volleyball courts. Parking is challenging, use bikes to get around when possible. There are services that will build a bonfire complete with chairs and supplies. They will set up and breakdown. Ideal to see the spectacular sunsets that so many people gather to watch.
