This place has some of the best views on the Island. They serve lunch and dinner on The Lawn. It also has upscale dining indoor. You can also go for a drink and sit on the Adirondack Chairs and watch the sailboats. If you are there for sunset you will not be disappointed.

The bar is huge and you wont have to wait long for a drink. We love to go here when we are downtown and see the sunset from the deck. You will not be disappointed.

One of our favorite pubs in Newport. Great vibe and great food. The service is incredible. If you like lobster try the lobster reuben.

Newport is rich in history all the way back to 1600's. The Newport Preservation Society was formed to preserve many of the Gilded Age mansions. Many of these "summer cottages" were built in the late 1800's early 1900's as the summer homes for the most wealthy families at that time. Go online and get tickets and take a tour and learn about how people lived in those days. These Mansions are featured in the new HBO series "The Gilded Age"

A short distance away at Third Beach is our recently restored salt marsh habitat, a new birding "hotspot" and a favorite of birders and non-birders alike. In addition, Sachuest Point National Wildlife Refuge is renowned for its fantastic saltwater fishing, and has an active night fishing permit system.

The Cliff Walk is world famous as a public access walk that combines the natural beauty of the Newport shoreline with architectural history of the gilded age. Wildflowers, birds, and geology. Lacking a suitable space, the Museum’s Founders sought to find a proper home for some of Newport’s most historically important automobiles. Defunct and outdated, the historic Audrain Building presented a perfect solution: a home for the museum and an opportunity to restore and preserve a key piece of architectural history.
Designed for Adolphe Audrain by noted New York architect Bruce Price in 1902, the Audrain Building represents one of the four Gilded Age buildings that form an architecturally significant block on Bellevue Avenue. Price drew inspiration from the Florentine Renaissance to create an iconic two-story edifice defined by broad arched windows and a roofline distinguished by polychromed terra-cotta ornament, crowned with a roof balustrade with lion finials. The first floor was originally designed to feature six retail shops and the second floor accommodated eleven offices. The end of September is Motor Week. Lots of activities for automobile enthusiasts.
