This restaurant is not for everybody, given that it's usually extremely loud, and the food is simple (some of us like it that way). That being said, it has the freshest seafood (menu is on the chalk board). Try the shrimp or scallops with pasta in the white wine sauce (I forget the name of the dish). It's yummy. Also a great place for oysters (they have an oyster bar)... Try to sit near the windows.

No reservations. Take only cash. Bad things, right? Nope! Hands down best seafood dishes in the northeast!!! If you love garlic, you will love Scales.

They usually do not take reservations so plan to arrive 30 minutes early and put in your name, then stroll the shops in the area while you wait for a table.
