This is a totally crazy little boat harbor, truly the place that time forgot. A lovely drive across Chevron refinery land and a nice little cafe on the water. No one will believe you were in Richmond.

This is the closest pin point on the map to the entrance to the Bay Bridge foot path. The new East span of the Bay Bridge is truly iconic, and this path is the best way to experience it.

Crazy overgrown park with wonderful Berkeley-style, Burning-Man-esque sculptures. But the pin is in the wrong place on the map. Look about a mile to the north, at the bottom of Marin Ave.

The tri-tipBrazil Cafe is great, and this is their quirkiest location. Then, walk up the Ohlone Greenway to where BART comes out of the ground and there's a community garden that is a Berkeley gem.
