Your accommodation has a Mediterranean look, surrounded by a tree-rich, mostly indigenous garden which was developed organically by me since 2005. The view to the sunny north features Storms River Peak with a strip of Fynbos which consist of small scrubby plants, Erica, Proteas and Restio reeds. Take a 2 km walk along the old Port Elizabeth road to the cool leafy Plaatbos indigenous forest. You will pass the Segway centre, some eateries, a craft beer brewery and the canopy tour company.
Storms River Village, situated 11km from the Tsitsikamma National Park, is the adventure capital of Tsitsikamma and forms part of SA’s famous Garden Route. The unique self-catering Tin House is situated in the garden of a private residence with gate access and on-site parking. A stay of at least two nights is recommended, as there is so much to see and do in the area. Perfect for a couple, a small family, or close friends. Free WiFi. For more information, see the captions to the photos.
