The best option to pay for Transport in Hong Kong is to get an Octopus Card. These can be purchased at the airport as well as in any stations. They allow you to swipe for buses, trains, trams, mini buses and ferries. you can also use them to purchase things in many supermarkets and convenient stores including 7 Eleven. City Mappers is a good app to download to help guide you with which transport is best to take where. MTR Mobile is an app that helps guide you on the trains.
