One of Norway´s great hikes with fabulous view towards the Lysefjord. Preikestolen is a mountain plateau raging 604 meters above the Lysefjord. It is 4-kilometer-long hike and 330 meter climb which takes approx. 4-5 hours to complete the journey (round trip).
Fantastic! One of the most visited place in Norway. Super destination for a daytrip from our summerhouse
“Large mall with a very good selection of shops, fashion, books and everything in between.”

“The three swords at Møllebukta in Stavanger's quarter of Madla is built to commemorate the battle of Hafrsfjord. The fjord is around 9 kilometres long, and is a so-called threshold fjord. It was at this fjord where 11000 Vikings fought in the Battle of Hafrsfjord in 872 AD, when Harald Fairhair managed to unite Norway in one kingdom. ”
“The more affordable but still excellent option in the Renaa conglomerate. For those who are not into robbing banks. 5 min walk.”
“For over forty years, the Stavanger region has led Norway's development as an energy nation. This museum explains how oil and gas are created, discovered and produced, and what they are used for. ”
