This is our current fave for BBQ in KC. It’s technically in KCK, but it’s only a 3 minute drive from downtown. We love the Mike Johnson sandwich.

Relatively unknown BBQ joint outside of KC, but theses guys have been dominating the BBQ circuit for years. Three ribs + burnt end plate, cattleman's plate (brisket, burnt ends, and beef polish sausage), cheesy corn, and mac & cheese with bacon are fan favorites. Must try for any BBQ lover.
