Nearest SAQ. Like all SAQs they have crappy hours and close way too early. It's like you have to be a house-wife to be able to get there while they are open. For those of you who are not from Canada, the SAQ is the only place where you can purchase decent wine. It is a monopoly and very much like a supermarket. Welcome to Canada. I'm originally from NYC and this was truly a shock when I moved to Canada. In a pinch, go to the Wakefield General Store. Small selection but pretty good or else head to the back of the store and grab yourself a nice beer from Quebec that's in a big thick champaign style bottle. Can't go wrong.

The Quebec Liquor commission. Though this is a small location, you will be able to find a fairly good selection of wine and spirits. Beer and some wines may be purchased in grocery stores in the province of Quebec.

Located beside the IGA, this is the best place to purchase wine and other alcohol on the way up from Ottawa. (The General Store in Wakefield also sells wine and beer.)
