The view from above the falls is superb when sunrise, combined with Mount Merapi as the falls background. Estimate 1 hour drive to the location, better to arrive before sunrise ;)

another way to enjoy the beauty of merapi far away. from the photo spot - which is only a short walk from the parking lot - we can see the waterfall with merapi as the background. need to go down the steep slope to reach the waterfall. located not far from ketep pass.
