Down to earth pub, nice people, good food, good value. Little known at the back of Wells near the church.

The Bowling Green Inn is said to be the oldest pub in Wells with records of landlords going back to the 1673 although it is thought to have existed even before that. Open throughout the year, The Bowling Green Inn offers traditional home cooked cuisine in a relaxed and comfortable pub setting. They serve a delightful selection of local ales and wines from around the world. As well, they also have a secluded beer garden, perfect for sunny days!
