Newport Craft Brewing Co. was originally founded in 1909 by four college friends. It was the original production craft brewery in Rhode Island, and has since created more than 100 distinctive beers while keeping things local and authentic. From a large selection of brews made with Rhode Island grown ingredients, to beers aged in rum barrels, the brewery has been in the vanguard of craft brewing for nearly 20 years.

Founded in 1999 by four college friends, Newport Storm was the original production craft brewery in Rhode Island. In 2006 the crew began distilling craft spirits and became the first distillery to operate commercially in Rhode Island in 135 years. They currently produce gin, amaro, single barrel rum, moonshine and whiskey. During open hours, visitors can visit the tap room, tour the distillery, and tast the Thomas Tew Rum in several stages of development. Self-guided tours are available and guided tours start daily at 3pm.

Nice little brewery with outdoor seating during nice weather. They do some nice IPAs, sours, and the occasional stout.

Really fun local brewery - outdoor tasting room with fun lawn games. They are in the middle of a huge addition so there is quite a bit of construction but it's still worth it. (P.S. They have Mai Tais on tap!).
