Beautiful country park with large water sport lake adjecent to beautiful long dog friendly Sandy beach

Druridge Bay Country Park- (dog friendly) choose to walk on the beach, around the lake or if you like bird watching walk along the gravel path to various bird hides. There is also a visitor centre which offers refreshments but our favourite place to eat in the area is The Old Customs House tearoom by the harbour for delicious homemade food at reasonable prices. Other favourites in Amble are Spirrelli Icecream parlour and The Harbour Fish Bar.

Great for dog walks but also lots of water activities including kayaking, sailing, paddle boards - all pre booked. The beach is nearby too.
