Sophie's Cosmic Cafe is a retro diner that is open for brunch or lunch until 3 p.m. This unpretentious long-standing restaurant is a local favourite found at the corner of Arbutus and 4th Avenue. Sophie's is a diner with an extensive menu of comfort and healthy food. Choose from their extensive drink menu featuring everything from milkshakes to coffee, to wine and beer. The inside is filled with kitsch from days gone by, and their music is sometimes set to the classics. They have a dining room with booths, and they also have a patio for those summer months.
