Our town park in New Lebanon, nice and green, good for putting kids on the swings or on the jungle gym at the great playground, or for some time on the basketball courts or the recently redone tennis courts. You'll also find a baseball diamond and a little stream. There's a covered pavilion with picnic tables, too; look out for summertime music festivals there.
