The Crocker Art Museum, formerly the E. B. Crocker Art Gallery, founded in 1885, is the oldest art museum west of the Mississippi River. Located in Sacramento, California, the museum holds one of the state's premier collections of Californian art.

Book ahead! After the museum you can walk across to the park and jump on a scooter- they are always available there. Then you can enjoy a ride along the waterfront and into Old Sacramento.

You would not want to miss this place if you are an Art lover. We have spend the whole day enjoying the various forms of ART displayed here.

The museum opened its doors in 1871 and houses one of the largest collections of international ceramics in the U.S as well as much work from Asia, Africa and Europe. There is much to see and experience here and you easily spend an entire day wandering around the beautiful pieces.
