Hay On Wye Booksellers
Home to Hay Festival, it's a great little town packed full of bookshops, independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. We love The Three Tons pub. Also a great well stocked health food shop there too.
“Great café serving delicious tea, coffee, wine, beer, food and cakes. Also a fantastic independent Bookshop.”
“Hay Bluff is a popular walk, as is Twmpa (also known as Lord Hereford's Knob), both really achievable mountain peaks giving incredible views. Take the route from the lower car park for a steeper climb, or go up to the very top car park before it heads back downwards towards Llanthony and park here for a more gentle ascent or to go up Twmpa. ”
“For the homemade soup and sandwich combo at £6.75. Delicious bread made from flour milled via the giant water mill outside. Views of the River Ennig.”
“Great views of Pen y Fan and the Beacons. Good self-service café and restaurant. Great walks. Take £2 for parking fees.”
