Magdalen Bridge is next Magdalen College gate and it is one of the most picturesque places in Oxford City. You can take beautiful pictures from the bridge or decide to hire a traditional punts at the Boathouse waiting for visitors to glide away into the tranquil Oxford river. If your are in town on the 1st May, you can not miss this experience. May morning is a traditional celebration of the coming of Springs and brings together thousands of students and locals to enjoy dancing, singing, revelry from around the city and as an Oxford tradition many of them jump into the river after drinking early at 6 am in the morning. It is a really one of a kind experience!
