The historic Chickasaw National Recreational Area (CNRA) is one of the main draws to this part of the state. The CNRA is Oklahoma's first National Park, mineral & fresh water springs, nature center, hiking, fishing, camping, ranger-guided programs, equestrian & mountain bike trails, hundreds of acres of ecologically diverse land. Just a short drive to Sulphur is the Historic Chickasaw National Recreation Area. Beautiful hiking trails, picnic areas, swimming, and Nature Center.
