As one of the pioneers of Oregon winemaking, Ken Wright celebrates the terroir of Willamette through his single vineyard Pinot Noirs. The tasting room is in the town’s original 1923 train station which Ken converted and now has a lovely outdoor patio. You might even catch Ken at Carlton Coast Tavern on a good night!
Ken Wright’s is a name to conjure with among Oregon Pinot Noir lovers, and his long-established winery has never lost its place among the handful of the state’s most sought-after producers. The winery itself is open only two days a year (on Thanksgiving weekend), but the Carlton tasting room is the place to sample the fine Pinots, estimable Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc, and wine from the second label, Tyrus Evan, sourced from the Walla Walla Valley and Washington. kenwrightcellars.com

Great single vineyard Pino Noirs and fun tasting room. I also enjoy the Pinot Blanc.
