Great alternative scene offering good organic food in the main restaurant; a full bar; a great dance venue with something going on most evenings; a performance room offering a variety of shows, including slam poetry. Facility sources local growers as well as alternative energy. (No credit cards are accepted.)

The Mercury Cafe is a Denver Institution, pulsing with all sorts of events and ideals. Try the awesome food -- especially for vegetarians. Stay for a poetry slam or swing dance class upstairs!

One of our favorite restaurant/bar/venues. Sunday night poetry slam is a hoot. Try one of the deserts!
