Featured on Robert Irvine’s “Restaurant Impossible” makeover TV show in 2020, this is a long time favorite of locals for breakfast , lunch and dinner . I recommend for their breakfasts - great pancakes and sausage gravy ! You can experience true “lower slower Delaware “ dishes for dinner like chicken and dumplings , Lima bean soup , and diner staples such as prime rib ,meatloaf , fried chicken , Mac and cheese, and seasonally : even muskrat ! Everything is homemade , including deserts . This is stick-to-your-ribs country cooking , with fresh seafood dishes offered also . Only 10 minutes away and away from the traffic.....Our absolute favorite place for breakfast! We are never disappointed with ANY food but they make the best omelette and chicken and dumplings (Sunday has a chicken and dumplings special but they do sell out)
