The building complex is one of the most beautiful creations of the Hungarian romantic style; ever since its opening in 1883 it has always been regarded as an undisputed masterpiece with its beauty and balanced proportions. Castle Garden won the Best of Budapest Best event & conference locations (2016) prize.

Várkert Bazaar is a newly restored neo-Renaissance building complex on the side of the hill that goes from the Buda riverfront up to the Royal Palace.

Probably the best walk you can have around my area. You walk down on street Hattyú all the way to the Danube. And you will see the most amazing building: the Parliament on the other side of the river. Now enjoy another 15 minutes of walk next to the the river to the right where you will see our bridges, the Citadella (statue of freedom) and you will end up at the Chain bridge (that is closed for now for some constructions) but then you will soon reach Várkert bazár. That building and its garden is something you will love. You can also check if there is any event held because almost every weekend there is something (classical concerts, fashion shows etc and you can buy tickets online) Further but advanced challenge to walk up from here to Citadella. But it's worth the pain too! ;)
