(The Elder's Fortress) (further up the main road from Samtavro). The ruins of Bebris Tsikhe are fun, if a bit dangerous, to climb on for views overlooking Mtskheta and the valley formed around the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers. free

Located on a mountaintop in northern Mtskheta is Bebris Tsikhe, a castle taking up an area of 1,500 square meters. Although parts of the castle are damaged, it is still a wonderful ancient sight. Be sure to look down from Bebris Tsikhe once you get up there, we can guarantee the view will take your breath away
