Throwback in time. It’s small rustic, an old saloon tucked away into the canyon. Food is great, people eclectic. Locals and the Beverly Hills elite all come here. Saturday & Sunday breakfast/lunch is the best.
Such a special place! Amazing steak and classic American dishes. Make a reservation. Try to drive out in the daylight for beautiful canyon scenery. Take the mountains there and coast home.
Old stage coach stop for Us postal service. First come first served seating at the bar. This place is very cool. Wood fire grill .makes for tasty steaks and seafood. If you have to wait for seating you walk next door to Cornell winery for a wine tasting. They will come and find you.
“About a 25 minute stroll with walk along creekside at Peter Strauss Ranch (optional) where you can indulge in local boutique wines and snacks served with elegance in a rustic country atmosphere and local ambience.”
“I’ve actually never been, but I know a lot of people who like it. It’s a hunting lodge turned restaurant”
“Several Sundays throughout the summer are free concerts in an outdoor amphitheatre. Small so no bad seats but always enough space to sit. Historic house to visit on the property as well as hiking trails. The Old Place, great dinner spot, just across the street, as well as wine tasting next door at Cornell Winery.”
“Great for hiking, as well as checking out where many favorite shows/movies have been filmed”
