Lot of interesting things for sala, both food and other items, mostly produced by locals. Although you don´t need anything, it might just be interesting to browse around and see all the interesting ideas peoples are having. About 11 kilometers (6 mi) from the Cottage in the town Hvolsvöllur.

There you can find quality products (e.g. wool sweaters, mittens, hats and much more). That's also a farmers market.

Una offers a great selection of handpicked local products and souvenirs with a nice blend of unique handicraft, art and design products as well as produce from Icelandic nature such as jams, teas, spices, kelp sauce, rhubarb candy and more. Have a seat in their cosy corner and enjoy light refreshments after a fun shopping spree!

Sveitabúðin Una is a local store that offer local products as well as Icelandic design. A bit different from most tourist stores in Iceland.
