Another popular place for surfing. It's 40min walking distance from Montezuma down town. We recomend this place for hiking. To get this place just have to walk along the beach from Montezuma. Beautil and relaxing.

A 30 minutes walk along the shore, part of the "Romelia natural reserve" and a couple of rivers crossing will take you to "Playa Grande", a safe, wild beach, the perfect place to learn how to surf or to boogie.

If you walk to the end of Montezuma beach, you can continue hiking along the coast to Playa Grande (about ~30 minutes walking). Big, beautiful expansive beach

You will cross beaches and walk through jungle trails to get to this large sandy beach that is only accessible by foot. Bring water, sunscreen and snacks. Many beginner surf lessons are done at playa grande. About a 40 minute walk from the hotel.
