The old market square is surrounded by little hip cafe (rabbits, living room) and old gems such as the bakery and the little kiosks where generation have been meeting through the ages. Take the small road Calle “alte Kreppe” to see a few more ancient houses that remained. Of course the famous Augustiner Beeegarden is also just right there. It’s one of the most poplar gardens in Bavaria, and that should mean something.

Der Wiener Platz ist für uns Haidhausener sowas wie der Odeonsplatz für die restlichen Münchner: Ein Platz, wo man viel Sonne abbekommt und hervorragend zum Sehen & Gesehen werden. Einfach mit einem Kaffee aus dem nahen Cafe Wiener Platz oder einem Vino vom Weinhäusl bequem machen und das Drumherum beobachten. ______________________________________________________ The Wiener Platz is for us Haidhausener something like the Odeonsplatz for the rest of Munich: A place where you can get a lot of sun and excellent to see & be seen. Just make yourself comfortable with a coffee from the nearby Cafe Wiener Platz or a vino from the Weinhäusl and watch the world go by.
